Countless with solution we are at our customers' disposal in the entire field of lifting technology from from design a until installation. But there are similarities in the many different projects. One of these is that whether they are column-mounted rotating forks, bucking cranes, conventional or lightweight construction bridge sections, hydraulic about risers or even lifts, our lifts are built to last. One way of doing this is to paint them properly.
A painting serves two purposes: on the one hand displays the corporate colours, so the daruk or lifts blend harmoniously with their surroundings or advertise their owners.
Another function of painting is to protects assets corrosion and other adverse effects of weather or use.
To achieve the best results, our products are mostly powder coated and delivered to our customers.
Technology and process of powder spraying
Powder coating, or sintering, is an improvement of an earlier surface treatment method, one of the most advanced and environmentally friendly surface treatment technologies.
The essence of the procedure is use of electricity: the powdered paint applied with a spray gun is given an electrostatic charge while the cleaned, degreased and prepared for painting workpiece is grounded. The surface attracts the paint powder due to the different polarity.
The procedure a uniform coating thickness can be created on the surface in the full spectrum of RAL colours, which is both aesthetic and corrosion resistant.
RAL scale: RAL is a colour-matching system used throughout Europe, established and administered by the German RAL Deutsches Institut für Gütesicherung und Kennzeichnung e.V. The scale uses four-digit numerical codes to denote the different shades in nine colour ranges.
During powder spraying, the paint does not require drying, the process is completed by annealing the painted surface at 160-200 °C, which polymerises the paint, making it harder and more resistant.
Advantages of powder spraying
Powder coating has several advantages compared to traditional painting techniques:
- The powder coating does not require any solvent, and is therefore much more environmentally friendly than traditional painting methods. Painting is done in a closed system, so there are no emissions.
- With thermoplastic or thermosetting powder paints used in powder coating in conventional paints harder, more resistant surface can be created even on large surfaces.
- The paint applied is permanent, excellent resistance to weathering and UV radiation.
- For traditional painting faster, cheaper
