One of the last completed projects of the year 2020, which in many ways was a strange and challenging year for everyone, was the replacement of the hydraulic scissor lift of one of our customers at Eco Cranes Ltd.
On our client's premises, a reliable and long-standing hydraulic scissor lift, which can be used to, among other things unloading various machines from lorries, trucks.
Because the lift they used before had become too small for them, both in size and capacity, over time, our company was asked to expand.
Our staff at the as part of project preparation from prior consultation it was clarified with our client that he needed a lift similar to the previous one, but larger in both size and capacity, to meet his increased material handling needs.
During the on-site consultation, our staff also verified that the space needed for expansion - as you can see from the pictures taken on site - is available on our partner's premises, so there is nothing to prevent the work.
Acceptance of our written offer to the followed by the preparation of design documentation, in close cooperation with the partner. Once the plans had been drawn up, work could begin on two parallel strands.
Manufacturing and assembly on our own site
On our site the production and assembly of the new lift started. The new structure replacing the previously used new lift with a maximum load capacity of 10.000 kg and the associated table with a surface area of 5 metres x 3 metres, which exceeds the size of the older platform.

In order for our staff to install the new hydraulic scissor lift in place of the old one, it had to be removed and the existing shaft had to be enlarged.
After cutting and chipping the asphalt, our staff with steel sections reinforced reinforced concrete corona around the enlarged manhole, which is surrounded by a steel frame with a clearly visible black and yellow band with the required awareness-raising signage.

The lift has also passed the van lift test.
Following the successful handover our customer could start working with its hydraulic lift with increased size and capacity, which proper operation and maintenance it will be a reliable tool for years to come.
