Unless otherwise agreed, the following shall be responsible for carrying out the inspections and, in the absence of the requisite professional qualifications, for having them carried out must be provided by the owner of the lifting machinery.

The structural and main inspection shall be carried out in relation to the number of groups of lifting machinery in service. In the case of lifting machinery of special design and purpose, a more frequent test than that prescribed may be required.

The safety review shall be carried out at least every five years, irrespective of the number of operating groups, or whenever the environment of the lifting machinery changes (e.g. change of technology served).

The periodic inspection our expert staff will check that the lifting equipment can be operated properly and safely, and that it complies with the MSZ 19170 series of standards regulations.

The security surface inspection the structural design, mechanical and electrical installations and safety equipment of the lifting machinery must be examined to check that they comply with the safety requirements in force at the time of the test, that they are in working order and that their environmental characteristics are identical to those considered at the design and manufacturing stages.

During any inspection, it is worthwhile and possible to look for opportunities to upgrade the lifting equipment. This is mainly due to the to reduce the risk of accidents The risk of accidents can be reduced by replacing bare overhead contact lines with floating cables, by installing closed gearboxes instead of open drives, and by using shunt control.
