Az állvány nélküli statikus rendszer előnyei és hátrányai – 500 kg 02

After our latest in our post we introduced the tripodless static storage systems and today's article is about dynamic methods.

Rackless dynamic storage system

Even when using the dynamic storage method, no racks are needed for storage, but the products to be stored unlike the static method, no longer on the floor of the warehouse in a fixed location, but on moving tracks (roller track, conveyor) are placed in.

The technology should be used in warehouses where small quantities of loads are stored for short periods of time or only temporarily, and where the order of arrival and departure is important, i.e. FIFO principle compliance with.

Can be automated

In the dynamic storage system automation of material handling equipment is easy to achieve in most cases.

Furthermore, the proper design of the goods handling tracks allows for the classification of loads.

As the goods to be stored move along a fixed path in the warehouse, there is no confusion between goods arriving at different times, so the dynamic method makes it relatively easy to comply with the FIFO principle.

However, due to the increased demand for assets, the amount of money spent on storage investment costs are accompanied by an increase in specific land requirements, as unit loads cannot be stacked in this method. If the storage space is already limited with this method, it is worth considering hall extension and/or the installation and use of a racking storage system.

Advantages and disadvantages of the method

Benefits:

  • the FIFO principle is easy to comply with;
  • grading can be achieved with appropriately designed grading tracks;
  • automation solutions for material handling.

Disadvantages:

  • higher space requirements;
  • the occupancy rate of existing warehouse space is lower than the static method;
  • higher investment costs due to higher asset requirements;
  • higher running costs for the tracks on a regular basis maintenance, occasional Improving
