The system had to be adapted to the specified load capacities and the span of the hall. In the technical design, the main parameters of the solution were determined jointly by the load to be handled, the available space, the required range of movement and the characteristics of the receiving structure.<\/p>\n<h2>The manufacturing environment<\/h2>\n<p>The client\u2019s main area of activity is the engineering industry.<\/p>\n<p>The overhead crane operates in the upper zone of the workspace, and can therefore make the load accessible both across the width and along the length of the hall. In the design process, load capacity, span, track length, lifting height, frequency of use and the hall\u2019s supporting structure are interrelated technical considerations.<\/p>\n<h2>The solution<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Main solution: single-girder overhead bridge crane<\/li>\n<li>Rated load capacity: 10 t<\/li>\n<li>Span: 17.5 m<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The crane and the crane runway together form the movement system. Transverse movement along the main girder and longitudinal travel along the crane runway determine the serviceable area. End positions, accessibility and maintenance access are integral to the system\u2019s design.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the nominal data, the system\u2019s usability is also determined by the accessibility of the load, the operator\u2019s working area, the end positions and maintenance access. These factors must be considered in the context of the equipment and the surrounding technology.<\/p>\n<p>When preparing the system, in addition to the rated load, the crane\u2019s dead weight, the wheel loads on the running gear, the track support and the load-bearing capacity of the building structure must all be taken into account. The upper and lateral approach to the hook, the routing of the power supply, the method of control and the planned operating cycle all influence whether the crane can actually reach the designated working points.<\/p>\n<p>The equipment is well suited to the work process if the operator can safely reach the controls, the load\u2019s path is unobstructed, and there is sufficient space available at the loading and unloading points. These practical considerations must be assessed in conjunction with the nominal technical specifications.<\/p>\n<h2>What problem does it solve?<\/h2>\n<p>This solution provides an answer when a larger work area within the hall needs to be served by a crane with a clearly defined lifting path.
